Located in Houston most convenient Brittmoore industrial area, Boss Oilwell has API Q1, 4F, 7K and 8C certified shop with rig up facility; 8 Acres Rig up yard with 27,500 sft API certified Class-A Industrial and Machine shop with 40 ton overhead crane. We can repair, refurbish and upgrade your current drilling rig, Mud pump, Drawworks, Blocks, BOPs; We can provide Category IV inspections at our facility and customer’s onsite;

Engineering

To properly execute designs from concept to on-site delivery, BOPM have successfully implemented processes and procedures specific to achieving quality engineering results. BOPM’s engineering groups, worldwide, use a consistent platform of the latest design software in 3D via Solidworks, and its document management software. Solidworks Enterprise, coupled with industry proven analysis software, StruCAD and SAFI, results in a highly confident design solution.

Incorporating workflows to control file accesses, write accesses, model review stages, approvals, and deliverable issuance to external entities, BOPM strive for continued design control.

BOPM are committed to improving engineering processes on a project by project basis so that each product provided to the marketplace benefits from lessons learned from previous projects.

Fabrication & Manufacturing

The quality of products produced by the BOPM is further enhanced by the integration of engineering, manufacturing, and quality control that is achieved through the strategic alliance enjoyed by the BOPM. From purchasing to painting to on-site installation support, our programs assure the quality of the final product.

When logistics or project requirements dictate the use of other facilities, manufacturing quality is not sacrificed. The API 4-F-Q1 program established for BOPM’s facility is carried out in an uncompromising manner. As always, manufacturing quality will be assured through the use of highly experienced on-site Q/A personnel. The standard non-destructive testing procedures used by BOPM exceed the requirements of API.

Once fabrication details hit the shop floor, experienced personnel make it happen, using the right equipment for the job. BOPM employs only qualified welders and fitters with manufacturing experience specific to drilling equipment.
